Free Delivery on UK orders over £100 (mainland only)
At Conky’s Tackle Base we deliver across the UK with delivery direct to your home.
We have several stock status’s and to avoid any misunderstanding, we want to explain what these mean so to avoid any issues we can clarify:
In Stock: This is generally a core item that we carry in stock and is stock-controlled by our team, we would expect to have this item in stock.
Out of Stock: This a core item we carry in stock and is stock-controlled, we are currently awaiting more stock of the item.
6-10 Day Dispatch: This is an item we do not carry in our core stock. We order these items directly from our supplier on request. We give an estimated delivery time on these but deliveries could be longer or shorter than shown. If there are any problems getting any of these items or any delays someone from our ordering team will be in touch to discuss this with you.
At Conky’s Tackle Base we deliver our Royal Mail parcels on Monday to Saturday, excluding Bank Holidays. All UK Mainland Royal Mail deliveries should be delivered within 2-3 working days from the time of dispatch, but in some circumstances can take longer. If you haven't received your parcel please wait 15 working days from the date of dispatch before contacting us, from the 16th working day we can contact our provider and ask them to investigate the matter further. Please note that no delivery times or services are guaranteed.
Click & Collect Orders
If you are placing an order and using our click & collect service then please note that the goods will be collected from our Store at 44 White Apron Street, South Kirkby, Pontefract, West Yorkshire, WF9 3LH. Please wait for an email from us confirming that the order is ready for collection before attempting to collect it.
All Click and Collect orders must be paid for prior to collection, unless agreed otherwise with a member of our team via telephone. Any orders for fresh bait, paid for, but not collected upon the agreed collection date will not be refunded. For the avoidance of doubt, this includes, but is not limited to Maggots, Castors, Pulses and Worms.
Worldwide Delivery Policy
All requests for international deliveries must be made and agreed with a member of our team prior to any orders being placed. You can contact us via telephone or via our [email protected] e-mail.
Any international deliveries and associated costs will be agreed and paid for in advance. These will be international ‘tracked’ shipments without exception
Delivery charges depend on the weight and size of the parcel being sent, the delivery charge will be automatically calculated for you at the checkout stage.
All delivery times in the box below are a guide only and excludes weekends and Bank Holidays. We can't guarantee any delivery times but will always try and get your order to you as fast as possible. We deliver on Monday to Fridays only, excluding bank holidays.

We do not deliver on weekends so all orders placed on Friday will usually be processed the following working day (Monday) for Tuesday delivery
Standard courier deliveries are usually made between 8.30am and 5.30pm. If you are out when the courier arrives, a card will be left with a contact number for you to call to arrange re-delivery or collection from the courier depot.
Tracking Your Order
Where available, you can track the progress of your order by logging onto the Conky’s Tackle Base website and accessing ‘My Account'.
Channel Islands Orders
The United Kingdom consists of Great Britain, Northern Ireland and the waters within 12 nautical miles of their coastlines. It does not include the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man but for VAT purposes the Isle of Man is treated as part of the UK.
IMPORTANT - Changing Your Delivery Address
When placing an order with Conky’s Tackle Base you have the option to choose a different delivery address to your billing address. This must be done at the checkout stage. If you want to change the delivery address after you have placed an order we can still change the address for you as long as the goods are still in our store (Please contact us via the contact us link on the Conky’s Tackle Base website to find the whereabouts of your order). If the goods have left us, unfortunately, you will be charged to change the address. This charge will be the cost of the postage again. This is a charge that we occur from the couriers that have to be passed to the customer, unfortunately. If you do not want to pay to have your address changed and cannot be at your chosen shipping address to sign for the delivery your only option will be to collect the order from your local depot before the goods get returned to us.
IMPORTANT - Refusal of deliveries, Unwanted Orders & Missed Deliveries
Once an order has been placed, you have made a contract with Conky’s Tackle Base to accept these goods. Please do not refuse any deliveries once an order has been dispatched by us. If a delivery is refused, missed or unwanted you will be refunded minus the original delivery fee (if the order had free delivery you will be charged £4.99) and the return delivery fee of £15.99 for UK orders. These are the costs that we get charged from the shipping company. If you do not require an order or there is an issue or a problem please contact us via the link on the website.
IMPORTANT - What Happens If I Miss A Delivery
If our courier have tried to deliver to you and no one was in to sign for the parcel, they should have left you a card, so you can call them to rearrange delivery, you will need to call them as soon as possible on the number left on the card to arrange another day for delivery (Even if you have not been left a card) before the item gets returned back to us as this will incur an additional handling charge. Should you wish to rearrange delivery again, this will incur a further delivery charge equivalent to that of the original delivery charge. (If the order had free delivery the original postage cost would be £4.99). If you are not happy to pay the redelivery costs you will be refunded minus all delivery costs once the goods have been returned to us. Once delivery has been attempted it is up to the customer to arrange redelivery or collection, Conky’s Tackle Base is in no way responsible for any costs incurred after the first delivery attempt has been made. If there are extra charges then we will make you aware of this.
Sometimes, DHL will attempt to deliver to an immediate neighbour if no one is available to sign for the parcel. If this is not acceptable please contact us before placing your order.

We offer a refund or exchange within 28 days of purchase.
You must complete the returns form within your account.
You can either drop the item off in store or send through the post.
Unless faulty, items returned must be returned in their original packaging and in a re-saleable condition.
Delivery charges will be refunded in full in cases where the goods are proven faulty.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
